Privacy & how your information is used

What I collect. When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your session preference and whatever you choose to write in the message field. The form is handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, which emails the message to me and keeps a copy in my account — see their privacy policy.

Why I collect it. Solely to reply to your enquiry and, if we go ahead, to arrange and run sessions together. I don't use it for marketing, and I don't sell or share it with anyone else, except where I'm legally required to.

How long I keep it. Enquiry details that don't turn into ongoing work are deleted after three months. If we begin working together, clinical notes are kept securely for seven years after our final session, in line with BACP guidance and my insurer's requirements, then securely destroyed.

Booking, WhatsApp, maps & media. Online bookings are handled by Calendly (privacy policy). WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp/Meta (privacy policy). Maps are provided by Google Maps and the podcast player by Spotify, which may set their own cookies when loaded. Links to YouTube and Instagram take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.

Fonts & analytics. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts and uses Plausible Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or collect personal data — it only counts anonymous, aggregated visits.

Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. To make a request, email info@depunglepractice.co.uk.
